I enjoyed the movie "Surviving Compton" and I can definitely relate to many of the things that Michel'le presented in this film, which aired on LifeTime on Saturday night, October 15, 2016. I'm not going to share my thoughts about the movie or my feelings on the subject of domestic violence at this time but I hope you will share your testimony or your opinions on these topics in the comment box below. Btw...who do you think resembles Curtis Hamilton the most?
During the movie I couldn't help but notice that the co-star, Curtis Hamilton, who played the role of DRE looked so much like so many different stars! I almost added Will Smith as well because I see a slight similarity. If any of you have ever seen Tina Turner's movie, "Whats Love Got To Do With It", you may notice the striking similarities between the characters of breakout star, Curtis Hamilton and legendary veteran actor, Laurence Fishburne (who played "Ike" in Tina Turner's story). I also noticed that the relationship between Tina and Ike and the way certain movie scenes were set up were very similar to Michel'le's 2016 film. Like remember near the end when Ike entered Tina's dressing room with a Gun all big and bad and Tina was Fearless and basically told him to kiss her ass? Lol...Well the same situation played out in Michel'le's film but I'm not going to give away the details. Check it out tho and let me know your thoughts.
