Hi there! I’m Sally B. Waller, your local coordinator for AMERICAN COUNCILS for International Education. I’ll be working closely with local high schools and families in Stafford, Virginia, and the nearby area to help international students feel safe and at home in the United States. I’m excited to team up with you to provide a fantastic American experience. Five Fun Facts About Me...
1. I am a professional Voice & Performance Coach with a passion for music, public speaking and singing. I also have a keen interest in content creation, video editing, writing, and website design.
2. I have personal and professional connections with many legendary entertainers and pop and R&B stars that your parents listened to growing up.
3. With over 30 years of experience, I have developed and led youth as a Director and Program Coordinator for both private schools and federally funded community service programs, specializing in teen services.
4. I’ve been happily married to my husband Rodney for 27 years. He enjoys sports, video games, bowling, sci-fi movies, and traveling. He works for the State Department in Washington DC. He adds a fun and competitive spirit to our lives and often helps me with my work.
5 Together, we've raised four children, three of whom are half Korean from my previous marriage. We have a love for Korean food and culture, and we also have a Yorkie dog named Prince. I'm excited to learn more about you!
