A Caroler’s Playbook: Leadership Class
Plan, Promote, and Lead a Holiday Singing Group
Service Description
With the guidance and support of an expert voice coach and community organizer, participants will be taught how to lead and host Christmas Caroling events in their communities. This workshop provides actionable tips on recruiting singers, running rehearsals, securing public performance permits, and booking venues. Whether your goal is spreading holiday cheer or fundraising for a cause, your voice coach will offer hands-on vocal arranging and support and feature your group in a holiday news announcement as an added feature for leaders that register their groups into our "The Unify & Carol Tour" Depending on the class size, your workshop will be 60 to 90 minutes long. Here's what we'll cover: 1. Build Your Team, Choose Your Route/Venue 2. Select Dates & Times For Your Event 3. Performance Prep, Setlist & Vocal Assignments 4. Props, Costumes & Timing 5. Hospitality This workshop is open to ages 14 and up. Participants 14 to 17 years old must have a parent or guardian registered alongside them for supervision of program related events happening outside of this class, and all students under 18 must be officially enrolled by a parent. Cancellation Policy
If you are booking a WORKSHOP or Single Day Class: No refunds for cancellations and missed classes. The reason for this is that we begin to prepare for you the moment you sign up. If you miss a class, we can arrange for you to participate in the next available class. We won't meet on most Federal Holidays. If coach must reschedule a session due to personal emergency or circumstances out of her control, you'll be offered a different class schedule or a make-up date may be offered. Please show up prepared and ready to learn. For this workshop you'll need to take notes. Participants are not allowed to AUDIO or VIDEO record our sessions, however. Zoom sessions are usually recorded. It's best to join this online class or workshop from a DESKTOP or LAPTOP computer rather than a mobile phones. Please make sure you have a strong internet connection and the ability to open the links that are presented. Please be sure we can hear you and your music if applicable. It's best to test all of this out BEFORE your first class. You'll receive a Zoom link and any updates prior to class. To protect the privacy of other online participants and to eliminate distractions, please make sure there are no background noises or people present during class and mute your mic when the coach or other participants are speaking or performing.
