Service Description
Voice Coach uses her metaphoric approach to help visual learners easily grasp and apply singing techniques that will improve a singer's talent. Appropriate for aspiring singers 12 to adult, in this 5 part online semi-private session edition centered on vocal tone development, we'll introduce participants to the following: 1. How To Find Your Voice 2. Breath & Volume Control 3. Learning Vibrato 4. How To Belt & Curl 5. Singing In Color Depending on the number of students per online group or the session agenda for a particular day, session length may vary. Please reserve 1 hour to 1.5 hours per session. We don't meet on Holidays. The benefit of semi-private voice lessons is not only to learn these specific techniques or to pay less than you would for private lessons, but you'll also become more comfortable singing in front of others which will lead to more successful performances in the future. As an added benefit, participants that successfully complete this semi-private 5 week program, will be awarded a discount off private voice lessons. Students will meet online each FRIDAY evening for 5 weeks. Upon completion, participants may have the option to sign up for part two of our Singing In Color series which delves deeper and introduces vocal choreography, followed by showmanship in part 3 and performance prep in part 4. Aside from our pitch training course called, "From Pitchy To Pitch Perfect", learning to sing in color is just as important, especially for those that will compete in talent competitions, audition for leading roles, lead their choir or that plan to sing professionally because a well calculated, dynamic tone is what ultimately wins an audience over. Cancellation Policy
No refunds for cancellations 5 days before the start of this course and no refunds for missed sessions. If you miss a course session, please request a written copy of that session agenda via email to Sallyb@VocalzMusic.com so that you can be caught up. If session falls on a Holiday, we'll meet the week after that Holiday because we don't meet on Holidays. If coach must reschedule a session due to personal emergency, that class will be moved to a different date to replace the missed class. If you have questions or need additional help, email your Voice Coach at Sallyb@VocalzMusic.com. All participants are required to read our TERMS & CONDITIONS and PRIVACY information prior to booking this course. Find it at SingingFlat.com. This is an online performance coaching course and you'll need to join from a computer (not a phone). Please make sure you have a strong internet connection and the ability to open the links that are presented. Please be sure we can hear you and your music. It's best to test all of this out BEFORE your first class. We'll be using Zoom or gmail's video conferencing platform. You'll receive a link and any updates prior to class. Please check your email each week before each new session for important messages from your voice coach. Please show up prepared and ready to learn. Practice daily between sessions. For this course you'll need to take handwritten notes on paper or in your journal. Participants are not allowed to AUDIO or VIDEO record our sessions, however, from time to time your coach may ask you to record yourself so that you can refer to a particular technique between sessions. You must join this online course from a DESKTOP or LAPTOP computer. No mobile phones. Create a well lit stage or space that allows you the flexibility to stand or sit as needed. Your coach will need to see and hear you clearly. To protect the privacy of other online participants and to eliminate distractions, please make sure there are no background noises or people present during class and mute your mic when the coach or other participants are speaking or performing.
